Obsolescence
I guess in our heart of hearts we all know the future of DSLRs. I only wish they stick around for my lifetime as film cameras gave my father a lifetime of service. But, in the face of rapid and ever evolving technology I doubt very much that will be the case.
On balance that's a good thing. It's just a major hit to my sentimentality and more importantly, to my pocket book!
