Beagle in a Box
What do you do when it's snowing and you have a puppy? Stick him in a box and take pictures...
Set Up:
Brody was in a small igloo cooler lined with a blanket. The background is dark green velvet. The lighting is from a bunch of directions. The window behind the camera, a 580 flash, mounted on a tripod to the front right of Brody and bounced off the ceiling and with a fill card. Finally a white 24″ reflector was used on the left to soften any shadows. Originally set up a second flash to light the background, but liked it black better. The EOS 7D remote flash capability was used to fire the off camera flash.
